Frequently Asked Questions

Straight answers to the questions students, researchers and organizations ask most often. If yours is not here, send it to me directly; you will hear back within 24 hours.

Getting Started

How do I get started?

Fill in the free quote form, or email or WhatsApp a short description of what you need: your level of study or role, the topic or analysis, the software you use and your deadline. We then hold a free 15-minute consultation to agree on scope, and you receive a fixed written quote, usually within 24 hours.

Is the consultation really free?

Yes. The 15-minute consultation is free and carries no obligation. Its purpose is to understand your needs and confirm that I am the right fit to help.

Who do you work with?

Undergraduates, master’s and doctoral students, academic researchers, businesses, nonprofits and M&E teams worldwide. All sessions are held online via Zoom or Google Meet.

Which software do you support?

SPSS and AMOS, R and RStudio, Stata, Python, Excel, JASP, jamovi, SmartPLS and G*Power. If your course or organization requires a specific tool, we work in that tool.

Turnaround Times

How quickly can you start?

Tutoring sessions are typically available within 24–72 hours, and same-day sessions are sometimes possible. Project work begins once the scope is agreed and confirmed.

What are your typical turnaround times?

ServiceTypical turnaround
Single tutoring sessionScheduled within 24–72 hours
Methodology review3–5 business days
Power analysis2–3 business days
Dissertation results guidance1–3 weeks
Professional analysis project1–3 weeks, depending on scope
Custom workshop1–3 weeks lead time

Every quote states a specific delivery date. See Pricing for full details.

Can you handle urgent deadlines?

Often, yes. Priority and urgent (24–48 hour) options are available when the scope allows the work to be done properly. I will always tell you honestly if a deadline is not realistic. I never accept a timeline that would compromise quality.

Revisions and Rescheduling

What is your revision policy?

If a deliverable does not match the scope agreed in your quote, I will revise it at no extra cost until it does. Revision requests should be made within 14 days of delivery. Requests that change the original scope (for example, a new research question, new data or a different analysis) are quoted separately.

What if my supervisor or committee asks for changes?

Committee feedback is a normal part of the research process. Follow-up guidance related to work within the original scope is included. If the committee requests a substantially different analysis, we scope it together and you receive a transparent quote before any additional work begins.

Can I reschedule a tutoring session?

Yes. Sessions can be rescheduled free of charge with at least 24 hours’ notice.

What is your refund policy?

If I cannot deliver what was agreed, you will receive a refund for the undelivered portion. Refund terms for each engagement are stated in your written quote.

Confidentiality and Data Safety

Is my information kept confidential?

Absolutely. Your identity, institution, data, drafts and conversations are confidential. I never share, sell, publish or reuse client materials, and I never contact your institution, employer or clients without your permission.

How is my data protected?

  • Files are stored securely and accessed only for your project
  • Data is used solely for the agreed purpose and never added to other datasets
  • Files are deleted on request when the engagement ends
  • Non-disclosure agreements (NDAs) are available on request

Should I share sensitive or personal data?

Whenever possible, share de-identified data: remove names, contact details, ID numbers and other direct identifiers before sending. For health, education or other regulated data, follow your ethics approval (IRB) and data-protection requirements. I am happy to advise on how to de-identify a dataset safely before you share it.

Are tutoring sessions recorded?

Sessions are recorded only for your benefit, so you can review them later, and only with your consent. Recordings are shared privately with you and never published.

Academic Integrity

Is it allowed to get help with my statistics or dissertation?

Most institutions permit tutoring and statistical consultation, and many graduate programs encourage it. Policies vary, so check your program’s rules and discuss outside support with your supervisor. My role is always to teach, guide and review; you remain the author of your work.

Will you do my assignment or exam for me?

No. I do not complete graded assignments, take quizzes or exams, or write work to be submitted as your own. I will help you understand the material deeply enough to do it yourself. Read the full Academic Integrity Policy.

Can you guarantee significant results?

No ethical statistician can, and you should be wary of anyone who promises it. Results depend on your data. What I guarantee is an appropriate, rigorous analysis, and help interpreting and reporting non-significant findings, which are a legitimate and valuable research outcome.

Still Have Questions?

The quickest way to get an answer specific to your situation is a free 15-minute consultation. Send your question, along with your level, topic, software and deadline, and you will hear back within 24 hours.
